So I've decided to consolidate all my multitudinous blogs into one big mess over HERE.
It's not so "Claycentric"... but much, much easier this way.
And so hey...
How about that "Juke Box Revisited On Crack" tour?...
But I still don't know if I'm a good fan or a bad fan.
Good Fan:
I bought 4 tickets for me and 3 of my friends to the Cluben Concert in Hammond, Indiana for Friday, August 13th.
Bad Fan:
They have to pay me back.
Good Fan:
I just purchased a presale copy of his newest album "Tried and True" from Live Nation which will be released on June 1st and came with a free download of "Suspicious Minds!"
Bad Fan:
I think this is just a "downloadable" $8.99 version with no shipping charge and in which case won't come with either the CD jacket OR this yummy photo...
Good Fan:
I got really, really excited watching previews of his upcoming PBS special!
Bad Fan:
I seriously have NO idea as to when this thing is suppose to air.
Nor do I have PBS...
I couldn't help it. Had to go back and watch.
I remember the days of the promise. The traditional annual Christmas Tour promise. And I seriously think at the time he believed it. I know we believed it. And it was at least for those brief few years the primary thing that made Christmas for me.
We know now that at the time he was about to welcome a child into the world, but of course we didn't know it then. If we had, would this song have been even more poignant? Would we have wept even more knowning this would be one of the last concert appearances we'd see from him in a very, very long time?
Hindsight...
All I know is that I definitely miss those shell pink lips, that wonky eye and even the sometimes wonky voice...
Shoot, I just miss all of him. And that is all.
Wishing you all a blessed and beautiful Christmas.

In Fond Memory of "Ashes"
So, it has been brought to my attention that I haven't blogged recently.
Ooops, haha. Didn't mean to plagerize. But I'll borrow whatever I can get...
Because sometimes I forget how much I love him...
